I had forgotten about Ashleigh Banfield, and I never paid much attention to her in the first place, but this is quite worth reading. We get the media we deserve.

Thanks for posting this. I've wondered why you don't hear more about the media's reaction to what it has become, because I'm sure it really rankles a lot of journalists to see the packaging and the creation of news these days. She may now be a nobody on Court TV, but at least she can look at herself in the mirror.
