Continuing the theme of animals out of their natural habitats:
Fishermen at Kasyanka lake in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine recently reported that they had been "attacked" by piranhas. After fishermen caught five of the fish, authorities netted three more. They ranged in size from 2.7 to 5 inches. The piranhas, native to the Amazon, were likely pets abandoned by their owner.Boing Boing and Agence France-Press.
