Dan Froomkin, washingtonpost.com's uberblogger and recent target of Deborah Howell's attentions, is back from a brief paternity leave with a new White House Briefing. Discussing Scott McClellan's efforts to parry questions about the as-yet-unreleased pictures of Bush and Abramoff, Froomkin notes:

"McClellan's continued attempt to portray the Abramoff scandal as bipartisan doesn't exactly help his credibility.... His assertion flies in the face of the facts and is a Republican talking point espoused only by the most partisan or most credulous."
