According to the Houston Press, the new Republican in the race to unseat Tom DeLay is a lawyer with a pretty sweet gig:
He has since entered private practice as a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, inducing oil and mining companies to rebuild natural habitats harmed by their activities.Sweet! I'd love to bill hundreds of dollars an hour for that work.
