New!

I read this story last night and loved it. Although, as T.S. has said of Murakami before, I'm hard-pressed to know what to say about it exactly.
I loved the details (Mmm, pancakes and bacon...) and the uncanny tension created early on and sustained throughout.
I also liked this Hitchcock reference:
"If we were in a Hitchcock movie, the screen would have started to ripple at this point and we'd have segued into a flashback. But this was no movie, and no flashback was forthcoming."
